On 5 October, I will be running London's Run To The Beat half marathon. I am hoping to raise £2,000 for Naomi House Children's Hospice. It'll be the last thing I ask for sponsorship for for ages, I promise.

Naomi House children’s hospice opened in June 1997 to provide respite care, terminal care and bereavement support for children and families from across the south of England. It now costs over £2 million a year to provide and extend its service, and with no statutory funding available, it is dependent upon voluntary and charitable support.

Losing a child is the worse thing that can happen to any family. Naomi House is a place of warmth and joy for youngsters with life-threatening conditions but also helps bring peace and acceptance to parents and families. This all-enveloping care continues after the child is lost. For as long as the family needs them, Naomi House is there. Please dig deep to help this amazing organisation.
