I'll be stumbling around Birmingham half marathon in October and raising money for Action Heart, cardiac rehabilitation centre in Dudley, while doing so. 

Action Heart is a really small charity that do amazing work - the rehab centre is almost entirely run by volunteers who give up their time to motivate and support people in the gym with heart conditions and cancer. Many leisure centres and gyms in the Midlands have had their funding cut recently, despite the high number of people suffering with heart conditions, so their work is really vital and even more important. 

Action Heart played a massive role in my Dad's recovery from a heart attack and lung cancer over the past year. They have been, and continue to be, an amazing support network to my Dad and many other people  - we really have them to thank for his recovery. It would mean a lot to support such a deserving charity.
