Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On Saturday 14th April 2018, Elizabeth Annie Voysey lost her battle with Rhabdoid Cancer aged just 15 months.

The story of Elizabeth's life is documented by her mother Kathryn in 'Biff's Battle' a personal journal.

The Voysey family, James & Kathryn and their young family have suffered a loss which no one of us can ever really comprehend. The story of one young life cannot fail to touch you.  'Biff's Battle' a named cause of the Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust will continue to support families going through the same experience as James & Kathryn.

On 29th May 2022 the team of 5 very unlikely cyclists will board a ferry bound for Santander, Spain. We have a combined age of 231!

On arrival in Santander, we will cycle back to the UK in what we estimate will be a 11 - 14 day journey. Unlike other rides, we have no accommodation booked and we'll circumnavigate the some 900 miles back to Musbury in Devon. We are unsure of the return ferry route, but UK shore destination is Portsmouth, leaving a relatively short UK leg back home.

As with previous years we'll 'blog' our route via our FaceBook page 'Long Way Down 2020, the next chapter'. The good, the bad and the ugly of this story will be reported in daily updates as we wind our way up through Spain and France in what we hope will be fine European sunshine!!??..

Please give generously to this amazing cause that will truly make a difference to families in their darkest of hours.
