Story
Thank you for taking the time to read this...I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life 'Pretty Muddy event' this year. Please help if you can as every penny or pound counts and is very much appreciated!
I will be celebrating on Sat 4 July by taking part in this event as it lands exactly one year & one month after being diagnosed & starting my treatment for Breast Cancer. This will be my first challenge after what has been a roller coaster of a year but also a milestone for me and my friends and family. I don't want to witter on about myself but for those who are'nt aware why I am doing this, this is my tale: At 33 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I feel I have been extremely lucky and received the most amazing treatment and support. After a challenging eight months of treatment I am lucky enough to now be able to start moving on and planning for my future. Believe me, It has not been easy but I am very aware that there are many people that did not have the same outcome as me and others that still and will need help and support In the future. So, if I can help in anyway, whether that be raising awareness or being able to contribute through donations I am going to try and do what I can.
I appreciate your support & any contribution you are able to make and thank you in advance x x x x
