Hi! I'm Lindsay Sadler from Penn, High Wycombe. I wanted to run for the IRHH as I have several family friends who have benefited from the service they provide and I also like the fact that as a smaller local charity, the money I raise will make a real difference to them.

I started running about two years ago and despite the fact I was doing several aerobics classes a week, I couldn't even run a mile! I have improved and this time last year I was roped into doing the Reading Half Marathon with a friend. The atmosphere was amazing. I watched the same friend complete the London Marathon last year and decided I had to do it myself (although now that I've started my training in earnest I realise just how far it is!). I've joined a running club, which has helped with motivation, but it doesn't make the mornings any warmer!
