We support seriously ill children to lead a positive and happy life

Story

Thanks for visiting our Just Giving fundraising page!!

Our team of 3, comprising Mark Bradbury and Peter Elliott, from the London Thames Gateway Development Corporation, and Matt Derry from the London Borough of Newham, will by cycling the 300+ Kms from London to Paris in three days from 5th - 8th September 2008 to raise funds for the Richard House Childrens' Hospice within the London Borough of Newham.

Richard House is a fantastic facility which provides end-of-life-care for terminally ill children and respite care for their families at their centre in Beckton.  Although Richard House receives direct funding from the NHS for the medical care it provides, they still need to raise annual funding of £1.8m to continue providing a level of holistic care over and above basic NHS provision.  To find out more about Richard House please see their website at www.richardhouse.org.uk.

As you can see this is a very worthy cause so please dig deep and sponsor us here online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Richard House Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support,

Matt, Mark & Peter
