Story

Dear all

Some of you have kindly asked what you can give Ludo for his christening.  Ludo already has so many lovely things that he really doesn't need anything at all. However, if you do want to give something, we would be very happy if you would make a donation to the Princess Royal Trust for Carers.

This is a charity that we have supported for a while and it does an amazing job in providing support services to almost 354,000 carers, including over 20,000 young people, who care at home for for family members or friends with disabilities and chronic illnesses.

Some of you may remember The Sunday Times' campaign for this charity last year, which highlighted the challenges faced by carers, particularly those under the age of 18. Many carers feel isolated and unable to cope with the pressure of looking after disabled relatives and frequently need to give up their jobs, while young carers often miss out on their childhood and struggle at school. Carers say that without the access to information and the financial and emotional support that the charity provides, they would not be able to carry on.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the christening,

Love

Sophia, Matteo, Camille, James & Ludo xxxxx
