It is a lot simpler than life proves for anyone who suffers from MS, please take some time to read up what a person can go through.

I have been inspired to run a marathon by the efforts of my old team manager, Lord Adam Richard Miller-Williams III Esq who, having suffered chronically with Asthma his whole life, undertook and overcame the challenge by completing the 2013 London marathon.

It has been a lifelong ambition of mine to run one myself, a keen middle distance runner as a youth but led astray by the evils of wine women and song, compounded by 20 years of smoking.

Now is the time to step up !

I completed a 10k run recently and found running to be relaxing and theraputic, so I then signed up for the CARDIFF HALF MARATHON this coming October. Having seen the joy of the athletes finishing the recent London event, I thought it would be a good idea to take up this challenge myself and help raise funds for MS-UK

Why this charity in particular ?

My Grandfather suffered horribly for the best part of a decade in last years of his life, he went from a strong active man that was happy to work 15 hour days, to a pale infirm shadow of his former self, unable to even tend to his own basic daily needs we all take for granted.

If my efforts in raising awareness and money helps even one person enjoy their life a fraction better than they do now, I will consider it a success, though of course..the more the merrier !
