Last year a group of men in Newbury set out to make a difference by raising money for Leukaemia  Research and local charities.  Calling themselves the Lumberjacks, they faced the challenge of the Hungerford to Newbury Crafty Craft race, in Chopper 1.....and won! Thank you for all who supported us last year.

This year they are back sporting a modified Chopper 2

The aim is not only to hold on to the coveted Rouselot Cup, but also to raise as much money for the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation and local charities as possible, with your support we can do that.

As a group of men we thought it quite adapt to support a Prostate Cancer charity, especially as it kills one man per hour in the UK....  something Bob Monkhouse doesn’t joke about http://www.giveafewbob.org  One statistic puts it at 1 in 8 men as a sufferer, so look around and if you see seven other guys then one of you is likely to be or become a sufferer. No surprise Women do not go unaffected, losing a father, brother or partner to the condition.
