Ahead of the London Marathon this October, LV= and Keoghs have teamed up to raise money for Family Action, LV='s chosen charity. As some of you will know, Phil Day, Investigator in the Special Investigations team, is running the London Marathon in aid of Family Action, and with the support of your donations, and Davies Foundation (Keoghs charity), we're hoping to raise £2000 for this great charity. If you need anymore inspiration to donate, if you can, have a read of Phil's message... 

"Hi, my name is Phil and I am running the London Marathon this year for LV=s charity of choice, Family Action! I have been at LV= for ten years and currently work as an Investigator in the Special Investigations Team. Before that, I worked in CCPT as a motor fraud handler.

One of my hobbies is long distance running and I try to run several times a week, although struggle in the winter months! I have competed in several long distance runs before, including the Great North, Great South and Bournemouth Half, but have never had the courage to try a marathon. 

With everything that has happened over the last sixteen months, I thought it would be a great target to set myself - with the added benefit of helping me shed some of this lockdown weight! Family Action are an amazing charity and they work towards tackling some of the most difficult issues facing families today, including mental health, social isolation and financial hardship, all of which have been impacted by COVID-19.

Any donations big or small would be greatly appreciated and will help me towards my target of raising £2000!"
