Hi I'm Lyndsay Alldis and on April 25 i am running the London Marathon, I am running for a charity called MG.
MG stands for Myasthenia Gravis it is know as the Rag Doll Illness. This illness is very close to my heart as my husband has it. He has had for over 4 years now and after lots of medication and support, he is getting there.The last 4 years have been tough for my family so you can understand how much this means. After doing some fundraising for the charity before eg: walks and fun runs I thought it was time for something bigger. A friend got me into running and now i have the bug, so the London Marathon seemed perfect.     

MG is not well known so this is raising awareness, up until 4 years ago I had never heard of it.
Myasthenia Association is dedicated to finding a cure for this unknown disease and help sufferers like my husband Asa.The association has branches across the counrty helping to raise awareness and offering support to Myasthenics and their families.

After reading this I hope you understand a little more and know why I am running and why I need your support in raising lots of money.
