Earlier this year, my sister, Julie, (aged 46), signed up to do the Adidas Womens 5K Challenge in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign.

By a cruel twist of fate, Julie was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer in May this year.  She's since had surgery and has just started undergoing preventative treatment.  Hopefully, she's now beginning her recovery.

As a result, I have agreed to take Julies' place in the 5K Challenge next Sunday, 7th Sept. Haven't had much time to prepare, I'm pretty rubbish at running and my trainers are looking a bit rusty, but I'll give it a go!
