Story

Thanks for visiting the Mace Manchester Its a knockout fundraising page.

Manchester Mace Team enter ‘It’s a knockout’

If you’re pushing the middle age bracket and over then you’ll remember good old Stuart Hall presenting that wacky game show ‘It’s a Knockout’. Well now its back and this time Mace are entering a team!

On Sunday 21st June 2009 a team of Mace Group employees from the Manchester office will be competing in the Seashell Trusts annual ‘It’s a knockout‘ competition, part of the Seashell Trusts summer fair.

The Mace team consists of Darren Auty, Kirsty Collin, Ian Goddard, Karen Johnstone, Ian Knight, Peter McIllhagger, Paul Mulcahey, Garry Nisbet, James Quirk, Imanuel Steele and Lorna Vertigan

And they have to raise £500 for the trust as a participating team. So please dig deep and support in there quest for glory and the right to be named ‘It’s a knockout’ champions.

The summer fair will also take place on the day and will consist of a number of stalls and activities and even a chance to bump into a few local celebrities. Around 1,500 people come throughout the day which usually raises in the region of £10,000 for the charity. The summer fair starts at 12 noon and continues on until around 4pm.

So if you want to support the guys in the ‘welling wanging’, the ‘slippery slope’ or even the ‘combat zone’, or you just fancy a great day out at the summer fair then please come on down to the Seashell Trust on the Sunday 21st June from 12 noon onwards.

Seasheall Trust Summer Fair will be based on site at Stanley Road, Cheadle Hulme,Cheshire,SK8 6RQ. http://www.seashelltrust.org.uk/
