On Monday 13th July a group of 12 of us are attempting to play 4 rounds of Golf in 24 hours to support the very worthy cause that is Macmillan Cancer Support.

4 rounds of golf may sound great fun, however this challenge will take each golfer 16 hours to complete. We will tee off at 5am and aim to finish around 9pm, walking 20 miles and playing 72 holes in the process, making this a very tough a testing challenge.

Macmillan do such a great job to help and support a vast number of people throughout the year and cancer, regrettably is close to many many peoples hearts.

We are aiming to raise a minimum of £1500.

Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated, please see below a snapshot of how some of the money raised is used.

£10 spent on running the Macmillan benefits advice service could help someone with cancer claim £190 in entitles benefits

£27 could pay for a Macmillan nurse for an hour, helping people living with cancer and their families receive essential medical, practical and emotion support

£132 could pay for a Macmillan cancer information and support specialist for a day, so more people would have someone to answer their questions and talk about their concerns

From us all ...... thank you in advance.
