In April 2010 I completed the Marathon des Sables, widely regarded as the world's toughest footrace, as the ultimate goal after completing a number of fundraising events before.  To learn more about the event go to www.saharamarathon.co.uk.

I walked and ran 156 miles across the Sahara desert in Morroco to support the CHSW Precious Lives appeal.  Temperatures reached 52 degrees centigrade and I suffered with blisters and dehydration.  I also started the event with a broken bone in my ankle.  All I ask of you is a donation, no matter how big or small, to make it all worthwhile.  It's easy and the charity will get your donation straight away so please sponsor me now!
