UPDATE!! Race completed on a beautiful Sunday morning through the central London parks.
Frustratingly, my timing chip was either misplaced or not working on the day.
But I have now been given an official race timing which is the photo finish time of 1h43m.
Given that I crossed the start line 4 minutes into the race, the best estimate for my actual race time is 1h39m. That gives me an estimated race position of 630 out of 7650.
So I'm really pleased as it's even better than I thought!
Thanks to all those who've supported my fundraising efforts, and remember it's still not too late, if you haven't already, to add to the fundraising total.

Every hour of every day, Marie Curie Cancer Care is making a real difference to the lives of people with cancer and their families. Every year the charity provides care to around 30,000 cancer patients and their families—entirely free of charge.
When someone is terminally ill, they slowly have to give up everything they have. They want the things around that are important to them. Marie Curie allows cancer patients to remain at home, rather than at hospital, so they can feel safe in their own bed with familiar surroundings.
Having experienced first hand the difference home care nursing can make, this is my great opportunity to help this amazing work continue by raising as much as possible.
