This is my first ever Great North Run and I'm hoping it will be made worth while by raising my target of £400 to give to the Marie Curie Cancer Care Charity.

I have chose this charity because of personal reasons and I will be dedicating my run to a few of my family members: Uncle David, Mama (my Grandma), Uncle John and Grandma Carr. Unfortunately, my Mama and Uncle John are no longer with us, but I'm sure they will be watching from somewhere. So I run in hope to find my Uncle David at the finish line and my partner's Grandma, Dot, watching on tv, supporting me all the way. This run is for you!!
