Story
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page and for supporting Richard House.
We've been training long and hard over the cold winter months, becoming very familiar with the canals, parks and streets of London.
Let's meet the team:
Michael is lining up for his first marathon in London. He's found training with his more experienced training partners extremely beneficial and motivating and is amazed at how much of London he’s seen during the long training runs. Completed London 3h26m18s
Ruth, the most experienced runner of the group with two four hour London marathon’s to her credit, Paris will be her third marathon. She’s particularly looking forward to a new route and to spending a weekend in Paris with her running pals. Completed Paris: 4h10m51s
Helen’s hoping to run a sub-four hour marathon in Paris – despite swearing she’d never to it again, having completed the 2007 London marathon in 4 hours, 11 seconds. This really is Helen’s last marathon - and if she can run 26.2 miles there’s hope for us all! Completed Paris: 3h57m19s
This is Sue’s first marathon (after being roped into it by Helen). Sue’s become a veteran of half marathon’s over the last year and is relishing the challenge of running 26.2 miles and to spending a weekend in Paris. Completed Paris: 4h29m34s
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Richard House Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
