Safe Steps, is a charity that works with and for survivors of domestic abuse, providing refuge, support, advice and advocacy. In light of the COVID19 outbreak, the  UK government's advice remain safe and well, is to self-isolate at home. This makes sense for the general population, but if you are at home with a perpetrator of domestic violence,  staying at home, close up and without an escape route, is likely to increase both the severity and frequency of abuse and may lead to an escalation of serious incidents and homicide.  This cant happen.   

Donations to this page will be spent on paying for emergency provisions,   urgent accommodation, and supporting the charity to continue to provide advice, support, counselling, and interventions to those who are experiencing domestic abuse and cannot self-isolate.
