Hi everyone,

It was around september last year when i heard about the first ever brighton marathon, i was really lucky to get a place as spaces for this run were being taken really quickly.

It was around this time i ran the great south run for macmillan cancer support which many of you kindly sponsored me for,i ran that in 1hr 18 which i was really happy with, the best thing being that i managed to raise money for a deserving charity.

For the brighton marathon on the 18th April i have decided to run for Chase childrens hospice, who offer full support to families with life limited children in surrey and sussex,i completed the three peaks challenge a couple of years ago and raised money for chase then.

Well the weeks have whizzed by and its only about 8 weeks away till the big day!!,i must say i have questioned my sanity many times when the alarm goes off at 6.30 on a sunday morning for a run to be greeted by snow and ice when you open the front door!!

It would be great if you could sponsor me  for this challenge and it would be brilliant to see any of you who fancy coming to brighton on the day.

All the best

Mark
