A few years back, my Mum was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. She endured many rounds of both radio and chemo-therapy, but eventually she lost her battle. In the latter stages of her illness, she was supported by Macmillan Nurses, and I remember her telling me just how brilliant they were. She was absolutely full of praise for them and, until now, I haven't really been able to think of a way to show my appreciation for what they did. Now, with the forthcoming release of the new Breaking Bad film on the 11th of October, I'll be having my head shaved like Walter White, donating all the proceeds to Macmillan Cancer Support.
