Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I have chosen to climb Mt Kilimanjaro this August, and to raise money for charity. My chosen Charity is for Cancer research, which as you are all aware, the more research into this disease, the better. The Climb itself will be up 5,895 metres (19,341ft), it is the world's tallest free standing mountain, and considered an amateur climb. You can look at it as a very long trek (up 6000m mind you!) so the risks associated are not comparable to climbing with ropes and hanging by fingernails from a rock face! That said, it is still a massive challenge for anyone because of the altitude.

Having recently had two family members die with this disease, if you could help to support cancer research, I am sure that it would be greatly appreciated by the charities beneficiaries, as they work towards one day finding a cure.
