Event: Bethany Christian Trust - Bethany Big Sleepout, on 26 March 2010
We work with individuals and communities to end homelessness in Scotland

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Friday 26th March I'm sleeping rough in central Edinburgh in order to raise money for the Bethany Trust for the homeless with Zac my 13 year old son (again).  In these very difficult times it's important to remember that none of the homeless set out to be homeless.  Many worked and had relationships and something went wrong.  It can happen to any of us.

We hope to raise £3,000 but more importantly hope that one person will read this and take the challenge to do something similarly unexpected so that we'll raise even more for good causes.  Typical finance person that I am, I've just raised our target to £4,400 recognising your generosity - thank you!!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.  If you have a CAF account, cheques or payments direct ear easy and really welcome.

So please dig deep and donate now.
