Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

In a moment of madness and probably as a result of too many pints of real ale, Martin said that for £100, he would have his beard shaved off. The moment passed and no cash changed hands (possibly because nobody had that much cash handy)!

During a training course last year Martin and I were discussing hair loss (as you do) and Martin told me the story, adding that he would have donated the money to Manorlands. Not wishing to let the moment pass again, I told Martin his beard was worth at least £500 and the hair on his head would double that!! The deal was done and Martin’s shaving is to become a sponsored event at the Dog & Gun. We hope you will support Martin to help Manorlands in their care of terminally ill cancer patients.

So please sponsor Martin now!

Let’s raise that £1000 and more if possible

Many thanks for your support and many thanks to the Dog & Gun.

Martin and Phil (who keeps his hair)

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Sue Ryder Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
