Dear Friends,

We did it!!! On 4th November 2007 we ran the ING New York Marathon. It was a fantastic day, perfect weather in a beautiful location. And the crowd was immense - tens of thousands of people cheering us on the whole way, which can really make a difference once you start to feel the miles. We even spotted a few friends out there lending their support (thanks guys).

We ran the whole thing together, crossing the line in 4 hours 51 minutes. A little way behind Paula, naturally, but not too bad an effort. And we really, really enjoyed it. The whole experience was simply magical. And most importantly, we have raised over £3700 for Save the Rhino. This is way beyond our wildest expectations,and we can only say thank you so, so much to everyone who has supported us and given so generously. We have been stunned by your response.
