Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Update:
I DID IT !!!!!
Completed the ride and clocked up over 166 miles. It was very hard at times. especially on the Friday when we got lost in London in a monsoon as well as losing by front brakes and snapping my chain! To top the day off I also had a puncture (one of 18 the whole group experienced) and we were so late getting to Barnet that the Football Club was closed and we could not have a shower. 30 guys trying to have a wash in a church hall toilet with two sinks took some time! On the Saturday the weather was better but riding through 4 inches of mud on a tow path that was about 8 inches wide was an experience. Then on the last day coming down an extremely steep hill heading for the A3 only to discover that my back brakes had also decided to stop working cuased me some concern, especially as I only managed to stop 10 feet from the junction. Still, I did get back in one piece.
There is still time for you to sponsr me and help me reach my target of £2000 so please give generously, it all goes to very good causes and is used straight away.
Many thanks in anticipation of your extreme generosity.
Matt
