I'm running the Great North Run this year which will be a big achievement for me after undergoing cruciate surgery to my knee 2 years ago.  And since I'm now a qualified doc I thought I should raise some money for charity too and what better charity than the Cystic Fibrosis trust which has made great advances in recent years and, with further support, will help to find a cure to CF in the near future.
