The Birmingham Half Marathon is on the 20th October.

I am running the Half-Marathon to support the Motor Neurone Disease and their work they do. My dad was diagnosed with MND about a year and a half ago. It is a progessive and terminal disease that effects the motor system in the body, it can cause weakness and muscle loss throughout the body and effects people in different ways.

There is still lots to learn about the disease and they still do not know an awful lot about it. With help from charites and researchers new advancements and trials are slowly been created, where hopefully one day will lead to cures.
