Story
On the 26th June, 31 gallant cyclists from Mayer Brown will set out on a challenge of a lifetime to raise much needed funds for Richard House Children's Hospice in East London. Our team, led by London Senior Partner Sean Connolly will cycle for 3 days along the long and arduous 233 mile route from London to Paris, finishing at the Eiffel Tower.
Richard House needs to raise £1.8million to stay open this year alone and we hope that with your support our team will be able to raise at least £20,000, which will help towards providing care and support to 160 life-limited and life-threatened children and their families. These services are offered completely free of charge and for these children and their families this home from home can make a real difference at what is inevitably an extremely challenging time. You can find further details on Richard House on their website at www.richardhouse.org.uk but to give you an idea of the difference you can make, £10 can purchase a multi-sensory pack for severely disabled children; £25 can pay for an overnight stay for a family with their child in hospice; £50 can pay for minibus hire cost to give the children a day out; and £100 can pay for the visit of a trained paediatric physiotherapist to help increase mobility and reduce discomfort.
We would be enormously grateful if you would consider supporting our cycle ride by donating on this page.
