Story
Recently my nan was nursed atHolmeTowersafter being diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. On the 12th May she sadly lost her battle against the terrible disease. During her time at the Hospice she received excellent standards of palliative care and the support provided was invaluable to the family. There is a great shortage of this type of nursing in the area and I believe that we should do everything we can to support their tremendous work.
Any monies raised will go to the Marie Curie Cancer Care Hospice at Penarth as I want to try and give something back to the charity that helped my nan and our family so that other suffers and their families can receive the same very high standards of care in the future. This care is expensive to provide, it costs £252 per day to nurse a patient and the hospice is run totally on charitable contributions.
Any donations would be greatly received.
Many Thanks in advance
