Story

Yes, I’m crazy!!

Im going to be at Silverstone on Sunday 15th March, but instead of driving around the famous track in a F1 car, I’m going to take it a step further and run!  Im sure I’ll be overtaken by a few over the 13.1 miles course but I will be keeping a firm line and running close to the inside lane to ensure that I don't expend too much fuel!

The main incentive for me is a cause which is very close to me (details are below).  Any donation no matter how big or small will be most welcome, but please do give generously, or I’ll come running after you! (Probably a few days after the run though!).

PLEASE HELP US SEND MORE THAN 100 UNDERPRIVILEGED CHILDREN IN INDIA TO SCHOOL...

We can give these children food, shelter, clothes and a lot more. Giving someone an education can be the biggest and most precious gift. With even the most basic education we are able to create our own resources and help people around the world to sustain themselves, their families and in many cases their whole community.

BAPS is an international UN affiliated charity, who have volunteers across the globe. As a result for every £1 donation you make BAPS will receive £1.28 if you are a UK tax payer through Gift Aid.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank You,

Meera

For this year’s Annual Family Walk & Fun Run, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha is partnering with The Anthony Nolan Trust. The fund raised will support BAPS’s work in holding conventions promoting moral and family values, anti-addiction and interfaith harmony and in-house health awareness programmes to promote a healthy lifestyle. The Anthony Nolan Trust will use funds generated to help take back lives from leukaemia by managing donors, and recruiting new ones to the UK’s most successful bone marrow register.
