Hi Everyone!

The reason I'm raising money for Missing People charity is becuase they helped my family and I two months ago when my Dad went missing, just before Christmas.  

My Dad suffers with seasonal affective disorder and is a manic depressant, which he has battled with for over 20 years.  Sadly, on Monday 9th December 2013 he hit rock bottom with his depression and didn't return home. My Dad didn't have his phone so there was no way to contact him. 

After a week of keeping the news private, praying that he would come home, as a family we decided to go public to spread the word of my Dad. Missing people put up posters, a profile on their website and helped me spread the word over social networking sites.  I set up a facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/missingpersonconsullivan ) in hope that someone may have seen him as we had no idea even if he was still alive.

After two weeks on Monday 23rd December 2013, my Dad was found by an off duty police officer in Norfolk which is 2 hours away from our home in Essex.  

Words could not describe how happy I was and will always be grateful for the work and support that the Police, Missing people charity, family and friends put in to help my Dad.  

So I want to raise as much money as I possibly can to give back to this amazing charity, so they can continue their great work helping other families like mine.
