Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 19th November 2013 my Dad, Brian Pemberton, died completely unexpectedly of an undetected heart compliant. He was only 63 years of age and seemingly in good health. He was recently retired but active and of an healthy weight. He always put his family first and is dearly missed.
Having been floored by a heart compliant I have seen my fathers demise as a "wake-up call" in terms of fitness and have worked hard to improve myself. I have rediscovered my love of cycling but would like to use my time productively. It is therefore my intension to do a series of cycling events all in my Dad's memory.
Remembering that heart problems are a major cause of death in this country then I couldn't think of a better reason to fund raise for them.
