I have signed myself up for the Great Manchester 10k on May 16th and I am running on behalf of the Lymphoma Association.

The Lymphoma Association is very close to my heart- my life long friend Laura was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma last year and has been under going intensive treatment, including blood transfusions and intensive Chemo since March 2009.

Seeing Laura go through her treatment with such courage and positivity has inspired me to do my bit, so by entering the Manchester 10k i am hoping to raise at least £500 (hopefully double!) for the Lymphoma Association.

The Lymphoma Association believes that knowledge conquers fear, so continually works to provide accurate medical information and emotional support to anyone affected by lymphoma. It was founded by patients in 1986, and is the only specialist UK charity that provides accurate medical information and support to lymphatic cancer patients, their families, friends and carers.

PLEASE SHOW YOUR SUPPORT AND DONATE! Every penny counts and don't forget to give with Gift Aid if you are a UK Tax payer as this means more pennies and pounds will be donated!
