Hi

Like so many people we all know someone who has been affected or lost to breast cancer yet the advancements in research are making a huge difference. We are four friends who all have mothers, daughters, sisters, nieces, relatives and lovely friends - not forgetting  the fathers, husbands, sons and other male relatives and friends in our lives - men suffer with breast cancer too - and in our small way we want to contribute to the difference research is making - as well as getting fitter ourselves into the bargain (no small feat for some of us!) which helps our own health and well being and allows us to keep spending wonderful moments with all the people above! We are currently ploughing (hobbling on occasions!) our way through our training plans - early mornings and late nights so as not to scare too many people - any contribution to Walk the Walk - for breast cancer research would be very gratefully received and will make a big difference.
