As you may already know, we have ran the Great North Run many times, so just running it again would seem a bit boring and not much of a  challenge This year we are making it that bit more difficult (as if running 13.1 miles wasn't difficult enough!) & are going to run it dressed as Superman & Supergirl. 

We have our costumes & are raring to go!

This year we are running it in aid of Cancer Research . 

Cancer touches the lives of one in three people in the . Almost everyone has someone close to them affected by the disease, if they are not affected themselves.

Cancer Research is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. Their groundbreaking work into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer has saved millions of lives.

Today, hundreds of people who will hear the words "you have cancer" will also live to be told that they are "all clear". This has been made possible by the incredible supporters.
