Story

Thankyou for coming to this page with the purpose of supporting our event. If you would like to donate more than than £50.00, please feel free! We would be very grateful. This year, we are holding the tournament in aid of the Royals Marsden Cancer campaign and more specifically for their research into Neuroblastoma, a particularly aggressive form of childhood cancer. Felix White, the 4 year old nephew of Shoonagh Hubble, was diagnosed on February 14th this year, and has been undergoing a course of high-dose chemotherapy since then. This will be followed by a major operation, stem-cell transplant and further aggressive chemo and radiotherapy. The drugs Felix is being given have harrowing side-effects. Prof. Andy Pearson, who is treating Felix at the Royal Marsden, is at the forefront of global research into childhood cancer. He is certain that, with sufficient funds, new drugs can be found to treat and cure Neuroblastoma. He and his amazing team need our money, so please give generously. Thankyou for your support.
