Story

Thanks for visiting my Great North Run 2008 fundraising page.

I decided to enter this year's Great North Run 1/2 Marathon and raise funds for the Down's Syndrome Association, as this is a charity close to my heart.

This is a picture of me with my youngest Son and inspiration Charlie, who was born with Down's Syndrome.  When Charlie was born, Debbie and I found the Down's Syndrome Association to be an invaluable resource of information for all aspects of the whole new world we had just been thrown into.

The Down's Syndrome Association are champions of the cause and are helping to change attitudes and create opportunities which Charlie will use all through the life ahead of him.

Running the Great North Run is a great opportunity for me to do my little bit, and hopefully you can read this and do your bit by donating and make all those 5:30am training runs worthwhile!
