Fundraising for Have a Heart - Cambridge

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

We are taking part in this in memory of my brother Giles. Giles was just 14 years old when he died of cancer, we hope by taking part we can help other teenagers with cancer.

Michelle, Libi, Aimee and Sophie are taking part in the Magical Moonlight Walk II 2008 to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, We will all walk 6 miles on July 11th 2008 starting at 9pm, walking through the private grounds of Trumpington Hall, past the Seven Acre Wood into Cambridge City through hidden tunnels, along cobbled streets, walk alongside Hobsons Brook, Emmanuel College and many other mysterious attractions in "moonlit" Cambridge.

Have a Heart (Formerly known as Q103 Kids) Is Heart 103’s registered charity. The radio station has been running a charity for over 10 years - in that time, over £340,000 has been raised and distributed to community projects ranging from the purchase of minibuses for the disabled to funding play equipment for disadvantaged children. The charity's aims are simple: to assist community projects and young people by offering support, expertise and influence. All money raised in Cambridge, Newmarket, Ely, Haverhill, Saffron Walden, Royston and Huntingdon stays in the area and is spent on community projects making a real difference to disadvantaged young people in the area.
