We tackle poverty in the North-East to build strong communities & enrich lives

Story

Mick died from brain cancer in February 2014, aged just 52, after a long and very difficult illness. Some of the many local musicians who had worked with Mick got together to remember him at a special concert on 5 July, in the Caedmon Hall, Gateshead. The concert was a great success, and the donations were divided between the Brain Tumour Charity and the Mick Danby Music Fund . The total amount donated via those two JustGiving pages, and at the concert itself, was an incredible £1700. A massive thank you from those charities to everyone who was involved with the concert -- the performers, the sound technician, the audience, friends and family.. everyone.
