Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My personal challenge is to cycle unsupported from Land's End to John O' Groats (LEJOG) between 14 & 27 June 2014 to raise funds for the wonderful 'Love Hope Strength' Foundation (LHS.)
I'm attempting this trip for the challenge and the adventure but also to remember and honour all my friends and relatives who are either fighting or who have previously suffered from this crap disease.
Why? Well, quite simply, Cancer Sucks and by working together and raising funds for great charities like Love Hope Strength we can all contribute and play a part in kicking it's butt!
LHS promotes innovative music related outreach and awareness programmes for leukemia and cancer sufferers, survivors and their families. Funds are used to purchase medical equipment and supplies, raise awareness through special events, documentaries and media, build cancer centres and raise awareness of and recruit potential donors to the organ and bone marrow registers.
