Having doubled the stakes from deciding to run what was going to be a half marathon to now running the full Paris Marathon on 5 April 2009, thus doubling my fundraising target in less then 24 hours, and never having entered any race before (with the exception of an egg and spoon and a doughnut eating race) I can safely say I think I may have lost the plot!

Despite losing the plot I managed to complete the full 26.2miles in 4 hours and 31 minutess and I have to point out that the last 2.2miles really did hurt, that said it was a fantastic experience which I really enjoyed. I cannot thank you all enough for being so supportive, it has meant a great deal and certainly made the whole experience worthwhile.
