PLEASE SPONSOR MOISHE DOVID!!!
In the blistering sun, Moishe Dovid bravely completed the 1k Community Fun Run, with the help of Shmuli, his learning support assistant. In doing so, he raised over £2,700. When combined with the sponsorship raised by other students of the Kisharon Day School who also ran, they have gone nearly half way to reaching the £10,000 needed to build a state of the art unit for children with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Shmuli said ‘ When Moishe Dovid received his medal at the finishing line he was smiling from ear to ear. Though he can’t speak I know from working with him on a daily basis when he is delighted and satisfied. For Moishe Dovid, on Sunday, crossing the finishing line was a truly magical occasion. Through their fundraising efforts, it is fantastic to see how the students are helping themselves. The pride it gives all of us at Kisharon is immeasurable.’
