Fundraising for Meningitis Now
Story
Thank you for visiting our online fundraising page.
Peter and I (Russ) have taken up the challenge for the Meningitis Trust on the Great Wall of China Trek, Beijing Olympics Challenge, 6-14 August 2008. For the "pleasure" in taking part Peter and I have pledged to raise a minimum of £6500 between us and have joined our fundraising efforts together.
Whilst in China we will trek along the Great Wall on average for six hours a day for six continuous days with a day or two after to recover!
Monty the Duck (The Meningitis Trust Mascot) and his friends will be going on an adventure of their own. Peter and I have sent them on a round the world trip to spread the good word of the Meningitis Trust and also do a spot of fundraising on our behalf! We have asked Monty and his friends to invite who they meet to send back photos, postcards and comments of their location.
