 I, along with my good friend Marsaili, am taking part in the London to Paris Bike Ride on 9th June2010. We are looking for any donations to help us on our way. Please take a look out our page when you get a chance.

Due to my 4 year old neice recently being diagnosed with a brain tumor and undergoing a series of operations my friend Marsaili and I have decided to take part in the above challenge to raise money for Clic Sargent.

At this time, my neice is doing well but she may have to endure 18 months of chemotherapy which will mean long stays in hospital.  During these stays her family will be able to stay in a house which is located across the road from the hospital and is funded soley by Clic Sargent.  These stays will also enable her older brother to come and stay with her during her good days and allow them to have quality family time.

UPDATE - 13/03/2010

With many thanks to everyone who has supported us in our challenge we have now raised more than our £3000 initial target.  We are now aiming to reach £5000.00 for such a worthwhile cause. 

Our training is going well and I think we are actually looking forward to the cycle now!!!

Thank you all so much for your support and donations.  We have now reached over £6000.00 which is double what we initially aimed to raise.

We have only got two weeks to go and are thoroughly looking forward to it!

WE DID IT!!!!!!  Thank you all soooo much for all your support, you will never know how much we appreciate it and how much it kept us going when we hit any rough times!  It is for such a worthwhile cause.  Thanks you once again from the bottom of our hearts.
