Story

The Trustees of The Robert Grace Trust would like to invite you to a talk about its work with HIV positive patients at the Mortimer Market Centre

Thursday 11th June, 6.30 to 8.00pm
Mortimer Market Centre, off Capper St, London WC1E 6JB

There will be wine, refreshments and guest speakers on the worldwide impact of HIV, the success of treatment in the UK and personal stories from people living with HIV and also a tour of the Centre which is the largest HIV clinic in the UK.

THE ROBERT GRACE TRUST

Robert Grace was an architect and a patient of the Mortimer Market Centre. The Trust was founded after he died to provide emergency support for patients and carers and later for similar projects in his home country of South Africa and Kenya.

The Robert Grace Trust Emergency Fund has been running for five years.  Now managed by the Patient Representatives, it helps patients in emergencies. It has paid for repairs, new locks, baby milk, groceries, a cooker, a fridge, beds & mattresses, school uniform, holidays for disabled children, subsidies for travel and child care costs so that young mothers can attend the newly diagnosed course.  The RGT Emergency Fund depends on donations to keep afloat and we at the Trust are very grateful to clinicians, staff, patients and private donors who have contributed so far.

The Robert Grace Trust also supports Nkosi’s Haven and Community Action in Johannesburg and St Paul’s Children’s Home in Ongata Rongai, Kenya.

A donation of £10, £20 or £50 makes all the difference to an individual at a time of crisis.
