We fund research to stop prostate cancer killing men

Story

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Thank you kindly for taking the time to visit our sponsorship page.  Starting in Movember (the month formerly known as November) we'll all be growing a moustache. That's right we are bringing the Mo back because we are passionate
about changing the state of men's health.

To coincide with the England tour to Down Under for the Ashes we have decided to raise money by growing our moustaches during the Ashes tour.  If Merv Hughes and Graham Gooch can do it why cant we?  There will be four of us taking part: Gavin Alexander and Marc Bryant from England and our antipodean representatives James Jacobson and Mark Hunt. The challenge will continue through until the Boxing Day test. The rules for the challenge are as follows:

  • No shaving of any moustache hair at any stage from the 1st of Movember until the 25th of December
  • 25th of Movember is the last day of optional full facial hair growing which means beards come off and stay off for the duration
  • there are two optional styles
    • the handlebar
    • the fu Manchu
  • Anyone who breaks these rules will be chipping in £100 to the charity

The money raised by this challenge will be used to change the face of men's health by creating awareness and funding research into prostate cancer. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Prostate Cancer Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

SO PLEASE SPONSOR US NOW!

Many thanks for your support.

Obviously, photos will be provided along the way.
