Story

Ann Cox, who passed away peacefully on 2nd January 2021 at the age of 83, was a fundraising force of nature (and Bingo queen). 'Nanny Ann' to the family, Ann raised thousands of pounds for a number of charities, but took particular pride in her support for the QEH.

For many years, Ann organised local bingo nights with the help of her enormous group of friends and supportive husband, Ron. Despite having to find the strength more than once to overcome serious illness herself, Ann never put her charitable efforts to one side. Year on year, Ann took pride in putting others first and was especially dedicated to providing toys and games for poorly children in need of hospital care at Christmas.

To continue his nan's legacy, and to make her proud, Richard has chosen to walk the North Norfolk Coastal Path from Cromer to Hunstanton in aid of the QEH Charitable Fund, along with his two closest friends, Ant and Scott.

The three amigos will be setting off for their two day, 40-mile hike over the weekend of 10-11 July 2021. If you are able, please offer your support with a donation. Every pound helps.
