I am just tallying up all of my sponsor money and so far I have raised the grand total of £1741.
Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me and Rob on this page, and Leesa on her page.
It means so much and I have been overwhelmed with the support.

I was actually really ill in the days leading up to and the day of the Great North Run and event guide strongly advises against participating if you have been ill in the 2 weeks before, due to the challenge of the course.
I rang my good friend Leesa on the Saturday afternoon before the race on the Sunday, who kindly offered to take my place and run in memory of my mum.
Leesa completed the race in 2hrs 45
Rob completed in 1hr 45
08/09/09 - Well less than 2 weeks to go.......
My boyfriend Rob Brierley has now joined my page to help raise money for Christie's as he is also participating in the Great North Run.
Please sponsor either of us or both together, your support is greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much.
Nat & Rob
17/05/09 - I did it! Finished the Manchester 10k in 1 hour 17 mins and came 24,485 out of 33,000 - not a bad effort for my first attemp. Thanks to my friend Leesa who kept me going all the way, also raising money for Christie's, I couldn't have done it without her
Training now starts for the 13.1 miles of the Great North Run in September, where my boyfriend Rob Brierley will also be joining me in raising money for Christie's in memory of my mum.
Thanks to all who have sponsored me so far.xx
31/03/09 - Well I have now secured a place at the Great Manchester Run on 17th May, as well as the Great North Run (Newcastle) on 20th September, which means I am almost running a marathon for Christie's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all the fantastic donations so far and hopefully I can continue to raise even more for this fantastic charity.
Hi,
I am doing the Great North Run on Sunday 20th September 2009 to raise money for Christie's - The Christie Hospital in Manchester.
As most of you will be aware this charity is very close to my heart as I sadly lost my mum to Ovarian Cancer on 28th January 2009, she had been a patient of the Christie for nearly 5 years. Over that time she had been cared for and treated by many of the wonderful staff, who work extremely hard in what must be one of the most difficult jobs in the world.
Here are just a couple of reasons why we should raise money for this fantastic facility in Manchester:
For more info on The Christie visit www.christie.nhs.uk and for more info on Christie's visit www.christies.org
It would mean an awful lot if you could spare a donation towards this great cause, however big or small.
Thanks
Nat
