Story
On Saturday 21st June, four of us – David Stirling, Natalie Semmes, Chris Dwyer and Jain Reid - will take part in the Rob Roy Challenge.
This event covers 55 miles of the spectacular Rob Roy Way by a combination of walking and cycling.
The Team will walk 16 miles from Drymen, near Loch Lomond, north-east through The Trossachs to Callander. From there we will then switch to bikes for a 39 mile cycle via Balquhidder to Kenmore on the banks of Loch Tay. It should take us between 8 – 12 hours. See Rob Roy Challenge for details of what we're getting ourselves into.
Four charities will benefit from the event:
Habitat for Humanity, "Eliminating poverty housing and homelessness"
Princes Trust, "Helping young people overcome barriers and get their lives working"
PSYBT, "The Prince's Scottish Youth Business Trust "
Place 2 be, "Support and nurture for troubled children"
And this is where you come in. We are looking to raise £1,600 for these charities and you can sponsor us very easily using this site.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Martin Currie Charitable Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
